The Nookery Café, which seats up to 120 people, is set against an impressive backdrop of jarrah and marri forest. It has a rustic, cosy charm, both inside the cottage style building and outside under the shady pergola or on the all weather alfresco patio by the fish pond. There is also a grassy play area with swings for children and meals especially for them.

In April 2007, when Debbie Babb of Country Gourmet Catering decided not to re-lease the Nookery Café, the owners of Woody Nook Wines took on the management role themselves. Their chefs continue to use the area’s freshly caught seafood, local cheeses and meats to create both favourite and new attractive dishes, prepared quickly and served by efficient and friendly wait staff.
Weddings and other private events are catered for by arrangement.

We have a delicious Christmas Function menu for all those office parties and get-togethers with family and friends.

Gourmet dinners are planned for some evenings during the summer months 2008/9, starting with the two weeks immediately after Christmas. Dates for these, together with their menus will be posted on this website. ‘Fun Fridays’ are also being arranged which will be relaxing ‘sundowners’ with local musicians adding to the evening’s pleasures. Please watch this space!
In keeping with Woody Nook’s philosophy of value for money, all individual main meals on the menu are well below $30 in price.
